The trip will take you for a visit to a reindeer farm and felt atelier.

The mother, a felt artisan and a Sami craft master will show us the different ways Sami artisans work today. In their home farm we will see how her felt art takes shapes and colors from the surrounding nature and how she has clothed her family from head to toe with traditional Sami clothing.

Your host will tell you also about the tradition of reindeer herding in past and today.

Home farm stand on the bank of river Lemmenjoki and it is not hard to understand where the mother and the craft master gets her inspiration. Possibility to see reindeer depending of the time of the season.
