Tourist attractions in Posio
The canyon of Korouoma and its frozen waterfalls are unique in Finland. The long beaches of Lakes Livojärvi and Hietajärvi could be called the Riviera of Finland.
Pentikmäki with its silver pine log buildings, Pentik shop, Country Style Museum and International Coffee Cup Museum is certainly worth a visit.
The Riisitunturi national park gives you a good example of the purity and diversity of Nature in Posio.

Organized tours
Our partner Stella Polaris Lapland organizes many local events and activities in the area. You can enjoy activities such as guided hiking tours in the Posio wilderness and mountain areas, canoeing, snow mobiling, husky and reideer safaris, adventures and paintball.

Hiking and trekking
Hiking trails start off from the Himmerki yard. Two National parks are located nearby, and the many lakes, ponds and rivers of the area offer lots of excitement for anglers.

Holiday Village Himmerki is located on the shores of Lake Kitkajärvi in Posio, Finnish Lapland. This lake is famous for its abundant fish and unbelievably clear water. Holiday Village Himmerki also offers you a venue for meetings and events. Our conference room contains all the equipment required for a successful meeting. You are welcome to have all your meals in our restaurant. The menu ranges from breakfast to delicious dinners. Our restaurant is also used for family gatherings and company events.
