Skiing comes naturally to Finns, and kids usually get their first pair of skis as toddlers. In recent years Finns have found a new trendy way to exercise on snow: snowshoes. For a beginner snowshoeing is much easier than skiing. Going uphill and downhill is surprisingly easy and convenient as snowshoes float perfectly even on deep snow. Includes thermal outfit, snowshoe set, hot juice, pastry. English and Finnish speaking guide services, transfers from resort in Kilpisjärvi village area, VAT and insurance.

If you would like to have pick up and drop off to the tours from your resort, please inform the resort name and ask for pick up while making booking. You can ask it in additional information section. Please note the pick up and drop off is made in the reception of resort in Kilpisjärvi village area and you have to order it.

This trip requires a minimum of 2 participants. If we have less than 2 participants, the trip will have to be cancelled, and a full refund will be provided.

Tours are carried out during the snow-season, approximately from 1st of December until 30th of April. All tours weather permitting.

Kilpissafarit keeps all the rights to revise pricing. Durations of the tours are estimates and are dependent on group size and conditions.
